Spring Blossom

Spring has sprung, our window drawing has developed from bare branches to blossom and from one bunny to many daffodil munching beasties!

We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 10-4 and our Spring exhibition is now open with new work from Scottish Borders and Northumberland artists.

Today we opened our Spring exhibition which is full of wonderful work from the Scottish Borders, Northumberland and beyond.  

Last year Rich marked each new exhibition with a new window drawing and for this exhibition he has decided to follow this ever changing season with a developing drawing; keep your eyes on the window!

Coldstream Gallery November 2014-2015

Hello and welcome to the brand new Coldstream Gallery blog! We are celebrating our first year in charge of the gallery with some fabulous giveaways on our social media pages and by starting a blog. 

It has been quite a year and we are so grateful for all your support since we opened our first winter exhibition this time last year.

Coldstream Gallery November 2014

We closed the gallery in February for a month of freshening up the gallery space with lots of paint and hours up ladders maintained by lots of tea, waves through the windows and BBC6 Music!

With a sparkling, clean gallery we opened again in March with bright mixed exhibition for Spring then 2015 continued with a series of themed exhibitions with work from local artists and a few from further afield in the UK.

Coldstream Gallery's 2015 Exhibitions

Our exhibitions have been Drawn, Weathered, Land Sea & Sky, Into Character and we have just opened our last show for the year, 'Home'.  It has been great to bring a varied selection of work throughout the year, to work with artists familiar with Coldstream Gallery and to welcome new artists to show with us.

Coldstream Gallery's fresh new look for 2015

This blog will bring you further information about these artists and their work but for now, amidst rumours of snow, we're away home for the evening.
